Our culture has turned piano lessons into a rigid, academic subject that kids dread. With rigorous piano exams, methods, and competitions growing more popular in greater Cincinnati, studios are unintentionally creating cookie-cutter, stressed out, and mechanical young musicians with skills limited to the classical pieces they've mastered.
That's not how music is supposed to be. At Evergreen, we believe that each student's musical world is unique from their peers' and needs to be nurtured as such. With their Guide, they create a musical world that has a solid piano foundation for any type of music, is tailored to their interests and goals, and most importantly, is expressive, self-paced, and joyful in approach. |
Making Learning Efficient, Effective, and FUN

Through new and mastery-based technologies, Evergreen students complete core piano in just 20-30 minutes per lesson for the whole week, with the option to play at home if they choose.
Our roughly-outlined lesson time schedule allows for a focus on mastery and accelerated growth, with students grasping each concept 2-5x faster than peers in standard studios. Real-time data and feedback ensures optimal challenges and support for each child. And of course, our Evergreen Guides are with them every step of the way, offering unwavering support, learning structure, and keen attention. |

We Have Evidence to Prove It
Evergreen students have opportunities to participate in adjudicated regional festivals and regularly earn the highest scores available for their prepared performances and music theory mastery.

We don't keep score or compare kids.
We love each kid for who they are. Even with all the great opportunities to show off what they're learning and their musical success across the board, their well-being comes first, and music education second. We don't pressure them to reach a certain level by a certain time, nor do we hold them back when they're craving more challenges...else it wouldn't be a self-paced program, would it?
