Where We're Located

We're conveniently located in Olde Montgomery, seconds from I-71 and Ronald Reagan Highways.
​We're nestled on the second floor of 7800 Cooper Road, with three teaching studios and a cozy waiting room. All studios are equipped with Yamaha digital pianos.

Our Story

Hey, I'm Niki! I started my own piano lessons as a bright-eyed, eager 6 year old. For a few weeks, I was pumped about going to lessons and it was fun. Then it started getting difficult and boring, the bench felt harder every minute, and the pressure to not make mistakes set in.

Next thing I knew, I was getting headaches and a knotted stomach just knowing that lesson day was coming, and I rarely practiced. I felt like I had to be perfect for my teacher...I always felt like she was watching my every move while I played! Several years later, I finally decided to quit. The pressure became too intense – between the competitions, dramatic people in my piano circles, and the entrance of teen hood wreaking havoc on my life too.

When I founded Evergreen Music School in 2020, I wanted to create a boutique, private lesson space that put the child as a person first...lower pressure, FUN, but still become incredible musicians that sound good. If kids are anxious, unfocused, or confused in lessons, there's almost always something deeper to address - lack of confidence, needing a moment to vent, or simply getting a sip of water. We see everyday the powerful impact of addressing issues and building a positive relationship with every student, alongside musical concepts, and it always leads to better and faster learning of content and personal growth!

We use the best curricula and approaches in the field based on what fits each student best, and our personable, expert teachers love their students and music like I've never seen before.
