What age should my child start piano?
Any age 4+ is a great time to begin.
For Seedlings, students can begin between ages 4–6.
For Foundations, 1st-6th grade students can begin this stage as complete beginners or more experienced players.
For Evergreen Studio, students can begin this program once they graduate Foundations. We enroll beginners ages 13+ into this program as well.

Does my child need a piano at home?
Yes. Regular practice helps students enjoy their progress and grow more quickly.
Do students perform?
Yes, we have multiple opportunities for students to perform year-round. Many events are open to students in all three programs. Students are encouraged to perform throughout the year. Performing helps build confidence and pride in their work.
Does my child Need to stay in each program for the entire age range?
No, students start in the program that matches their age and playing level. They promote to the next stage once they have demonstrated mastery in the skills for that program, regardless of their age.
