Jared has been playing the piano for more than 45 years (and boy are his fingers tired!). He began lessons at age 5 and continued on to earn a BM in church music (piano primary) at Cincinnati Christian University. He has worked full time in church music for nearly 30 years, riding the wave of transition from traditional to contemporary. He is an incredibly kind and encouraging person and guide, an outstanding musician, and adored by many Kings Schools' students and staff, where he is the accompanist for the junior high's and high school's choirs.
Jared can trace a direct line of musical lineage/teachers back to Boulanger, Faure and Saint Saens. You can find his name on the website for Carnegie Hall where he performed for a world premiere of a choral piece, while nursing a broken finger. He has worked with Emmy winners, Tony winners and Grammy winners. You can find recordings of his impromptus (spontaneous, unrehearsed and unedited performances) on Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming services. But his greatest joys are his 4 kids, 3 grandkids, 2 dogs, and 1 wife.
