What Is Evergreen's Foragers Piano Lesson Program?

• Open to grades K-8th who are complete beginner through elementary level players
  
  
• 2x the lesson time per week, for the same cost as a 30-minute lesson. Foragers' beginner and elementary level pianists get 55 minutes of lesson time each week to work independently AND 1:1 with their professional piano teacher in our mastery-based, tech-supported learning environment.
  
  
• Cutting-edge, innovative piano lessons where there's less lecturing and more DOING. Did you know that most beginner students today spend only ~5 minutes actively playing old/new songs with their teacher?​
  ​Foragers students play and practice piano for at least 20 minutes (usually more by choice!) with our structured, mastery-based learning apps and traditional method books. This means they get to breeze past the skills they already know, reinforce trickier skills at their pace until they master it, and repeat their favorite songs over and over, while still maintaining the best traditions of piano lessons that we adults grew up with.
  
  
• Teachers who care about kids and teens, not just about the music. We know that growing character and musical skills go hand-in-hand for developing musicians. Our kid-loving piano teachers are psychologically informed in teaching approach and serve as guides, meeting each student where they are both musically AND personally every lesson.   • What if I need to cancel a lesson? Let your teacher know at least 6 hours in advance for all absences, or ASAP for illnesses. Book a "makeup" in any Foragers lesson opening when it's convenient for you!
